Scope of Work
A home chef and entrepreneur who is building a business producing and selling artisan condiments needs to establish the brand identity, product and packaging design, as well as develop the assets to support the sales of the products, including a website and social media storefronts.
Identifying the Problem
Establishing the brand identity from both a messaging and visual perspective was the immediate objective of the process. This process required a competitive analysis in order to effectively determine where this brand falls into the market landscape. Establishing a set of visual and verbal guidelines for the brand that would translate into the asset development process was crucial. Without a clearly defined brand book it would be impossible to effectively execute on the development of the necessary assets to bring the brand vision to life.
Designing Solutions
After conducting an Elicitation Session with the client, I began building out the 100+ page Brand Book which included both messaging and visual identity components. This brand book was then used to inform the design of the product packaging.

Packaging Concept Design Mockups

Developed packaging designs that have been praised for their creativity and alignment with the brand’s sustainable practices. Oversaw print production and vendor management to ensure the designs were accurately realized and maintained control of the brand’s quality standards and sustainability goals.
Simultaneously with the packaging design process, the home page was designed, with the products themselves serving as the primary focus of the design and functionality of the website. Additionally, the UI/UX is of huge importance for this particular website so, keeping that in mind, consumer generated recipe content is at the forefront of the content mapping and the development of the CMS (content management system) for the site.
The Outcome

Website Development

Successfully launched a 5-page E-Commerce website with custom animations, graphics, CMS, user portal, and user-friendly shopping experience built directly into the framework. The website serves as a vehicle to drive a cohesive, customer-centric, and applauded brand expression and positioning for the brand, ultimately enhancing the brand’s visibility, consumer engagement, online sales, and market impact.
With an emphasis based on the broad range of anticipated clientele, the website was designed to place the products at the focal point while also showcasing the limitless potential for the products' use cases.
  • Designed and built an intuitive e-commerce website that has improved customer engagement and online sales.
  • Established a strong and consistent brand message, contributing to ClaireMade’s growing reputation as a distinctive and quality-focused condiment brand.
